Turning 50 wasn’t the easiest for me. I know, I should be glad to have made it this far, some aren’t so lucky. At the time, though, it didn’t make me feel much better. I didn’t feel 50. I wasn’t ready to own that number. I have my days where it still hits funny. I’ll turn 53 in a few months, and if I’m being honest, it’s sometimes hard to believe the numbers are right. In my head, I still feel like I’m 40.
It’s been an adjustment, one that I’m still not completely comfortable with. But, here we are. Menopause hasn’t helped the situation either. More than once, I’ve turned to Google for menopause answers. It was through my Menopause ventures with Google that I started to notice something. Most of the resources and websites felt very clinical and stuffy. Their main focus was on menopause. I guess I was looking for others who felt like I did. I thought I surely couldn’t be the only one who felt that way. Turns out, I wasnt.
That’s how the idea for Discover Your Glowup came about. I wanted to create the online space that I couldn’t seem to find. Our goal is to

Take a holistic approach in order to disrupt the balance. Demonstrate growth channels with the aim to come up with a bespoke solution.
